How can I support the project without getting directly involved?
It is absolutely possible to contribute to the project without getting directly involved. You can share the project on your social media, talk about it with your friends and family, or make a donation to our association. You can also join our network to stay informed and be among the first to sign when the signature collection begins! We thank you for your contribution!

You cannot be part of the committee or sign the initiative. However, you can contribute by making a donation and sharing the project!
FAQ - Canopy Initiatives
Where will the trees be planted?
The general idea is to plant trees wherever it is possible and beneficial to do so. This includes greening borders, empty spaces, cities, rural areas, and agricultural land in the form of corridors and hedgerows.
What about the protection of existing trees?
The protection of existing trees is an absolutely critical issue. For strategic and technical feasibility reasons, the two Canopy initiatives focus exclusively on the planting of new trees. A future project could address the protection of the existing tree heritage.

The tree species planted will, unless otherwise decided, be those resistant to climate change, non-invasive, and well-integrated into Swiss biodiversity, with a preference for native species.
